We were sooo wrong.
Things looked good when we got in line - it was a short line, so we only had to wait a few minutes. While we're waiting Tyler was really excited, yelling his version of "McQueen" over and over. Alyssa was excited too, with lots of enthusiastic conversation.

Our turn came next, and we started to walk towards our heros. That's when it fell apart.
Tyler started crying hysterically. Alyssa also wanted to be held and didn't want to get close to them. I was trying to get a picture, so it was up to Mike to try to manage the two suddenly scared kids.
Our time with McQueen & Mater was short-lived.
